Over the next few weeks, here at TFS we’re going to bring you some greater insight into us as people by talking about our most memorable and meaningful races.

I only started watching Formula One in 2019, so all of my most memorable races will be a recent memory for a lot of people!

Canada 2019 – This was the first Formula One race I ever watched. I was intrigued right from the start, and who can forget THAT five second penalty?! I’ll never forget this race as I’m sure is the case for many. The strategies on track and the controversy off track was enough to pull me into the sport forever!

Monza 2019 – If I ever get a tattoo, you can bet money that it’ll have something to do with this race. My first Monza was my best, and while I wasn’t there in person, the emotion I felt that day let me feel like I was. (It’s worth mentioning that I once got to ask Charles Leclerc what race he would have loved to be a spectator at, and it was this one.)

Suzuka 2019 – This one is a little more sentimental – and if I’m totally honest, I don’t even remember the full results. As a Ferrari fan, Suzuka wasn’t brilliant – but getting up at 2am and pulling an all-nighter in front of the tv with my Dad as we watched qualifying and the race all in one go (bad weather had cancelled the qualifying on Saturday) is a memory I hold close to my heart, and one of the reasons I remember this race so well.

Mugello 2020 – Speaking of not so good for Ferrari… I’m sure we all remember 2020 (yikes), but at Ferrari’s 1000th grand prix and with a beautiful commemorative livery, both Ferrari cars were able to finish in the points, which at the time was a victory in itself.

Silverstone 2021 – You know I had to finish like this. If anyone ever forgets this race, take them to see a head doctor. But apart from the obvious, this was the first time in a VERY long time that I got to see my favourite driver lead a grand prix, and actually be disappointed when he came in 2nd!!

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about my most memorable races. Of course there’s more than this – I’d have listed half of 2019 given the chance! There’s more of these posts to come, but for now, stay in touch with us on socials and let us know some of your most memorable races!
