Silly Season Returns

Coming into the 12th race of the season, and nearing the summer shut down, driver transfers are starting to be discussed. The newest rumour, which has been discussed by sources such as Sky Sports and Formula One itself, outlines Max Verstappen as a potential Mercedes candidate. This could see him, according to rumours taking either Kimi Antonelli or George Russell’s seat. Verstappen’s Red Bull contract does not end until 2028, so Mercedes would need to buy him out for this rumour to become reality.
