The iconic Las Vegas Strip is set to host the last round of the 2025 Formula One Academy  season, where speed, strategy, and drama will come together to create a championship  showdown unlike any other. With 151 points, Doriane Pin leads the standings, but Maya  Weug is getting closer with 142, creating an exciting head-to-head match that will ultimately  decide the 2025 champion. Ella Lloyd and Chloe Chambers are mathematically eliminated  from the title fight, so Pin and Weug will be the centre of attention when they compete on a  street circuit that honours accuracy, bravery, and strategic acumen.

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit, which is about 6.2 km long and has 17 turns, combines high speed straights that pass some of the most famous resorts and casinos in the city with tight  urban corners and hard braking zones. Although the late November weather is predicted to be  colder than Singapore’s, drivers will still have difficulties due to the street circuit layout’s  volatile grip, uneven surfaces, and small margin for errors.

The F1 Academy weekend will consist of two free practice sessions, one qualifying session,  reverse-grid Race 1, and standard-grid Race 2. Every lap, every overtake, and every strategic  decision will carry immense weight, as a single error or a well-timed move might decide the championship. Track evolution will have a significant impact on lap times and passing  opportunities, and tyre and brake management will be crucial, especially during the shift from  daylight to floodlit twilight conditions.

The Las Vegas weekend is expected to be a fiercely competitive showdown. Weug has  demonstrated a lot of momentum in recent rounds and has a precise overtaking skill that  might enable her to take advantage of Pin’s smallest mistake. Conversely, Doriane Pin is  anticipated to put consistency first, seeking podium results in both races while steering clear  of dangerous moves that could jeopardise her championship lead. Drivers like Lloyd or Chambers might be able to compete for the victory in Race 1 using the inverted top 8 grid  structure, which could have an impact on how the front-runners approach the first race.

Race 2 is likely to determine the championship outcome with a single overtaking, timely  safety car restart, or optimal tyre strategy. Weug may have the advantage to win the title  based on her current form and adaptability, but Pin’s consistency and strategic choices will be  crucial to keeping her lead.

As the lights turn green on the Las Vegas Strip, all eyes will be on the two champion contenders.

Pin will aim to manage the lead, preventing any costly mistakes, and execute a methodical  strategy, while Weug will strive to seize every opportunity, push to the limit, and close the  gap with each lap.

One decisive overtake, one well-timed pit stops, or one audacious strategy move might mean  the difference between victory and defeat in a championship decided by points.

The 2025 F1 Academy title will be crowned in Las Vegas, with the entire motorsport world  watching closely.
