The 2026 Monaco E-Prix weekend was as chaotic and unexpected as ever, with the streets of Monte Carlo providing a show that heavily reshuffled the Season 12 landscape.
From maiden podiums to double-points hauls, the Principality rewarded those who could master the chaos and prove their strength on track.
Pepe Martì’s first FE podium comes in Monaco
The feel-good story of the weekend belonged to Kiro Race Co’s Pepe Martí, who delivered a masterful performance in Saturday’s race, ultimately achieving a podium finish. Starting from a distant 15th spot on the grid, the Spanish rookie combined patience and aggression whilst making his way through the midfield and executing an extended alternative strategy, and crossed the line in fourth place. He was later promoted to third following a post-race penalty for his teammate, Dan Ticktum. The result marks another incredible effort for the team and Pepe himself, who is showing continuous improvement in the car.
A stellar weekend for Drugovich
Felipe Drugovich’s weekend in Monte Carlo was nothing short of spectacular. Whilst Andretti teammate Jake Dennis suffered an early exit on Saturday, the Brazilian stepped into the spotlight and achieved second and fourth place across the weekend.
These results undoubtedly showcase his rapid adaptation to electric street racing, whilst giving the American team a vital boost in the championship.
We had a breakthrough race for Felipe. Everyone on the team is super happy for him scoring back-to-back points and a career best result in Formula E. He drove an intelligent race and managed his energy well, keeping calm in the cockpit and so we really couldn’t have asked for more.
Roger Griffiths – Andretti Team principal

A monumental result for Lola Yamaha ABT
The outing at the Principality marked a monumental technical and competitive milestone for Lola Yamaha ABT.
Saturday was undoubtedly a rollercoaster for the team, with both drivers starting from the very back of the grid. Lucas di Grassi went from 11th to 8th after penalties were given out, with teammate Zane Maloney finishing in 13th after a drive-through.
Sunday marked the first double points finish for the team. They executed the race strategically, moving up the field once again and scoring a P9 and P10 finish. Despite struggling in qualifying, Lola seems to be moving in the right direction to become a regular in the battle for points.
Mahindra’s fairytale continues in Monaco
Monaco was another successful weekend for Mahindra. Nyck de Vries delivered a masterclass performance on Saturday, converting a front-row start into Mahindra’s first Formula E win since 2021. On Sunday, the Indian team secured more points despite an eventful qualifying; Mortara achieved a top-five finish despite a penalty, while De Vries charged from 15th to the top ten. This result cements Mahindra as a threat moving forward, showing great potential to deliver more strong performances during the rest of the season.
What makes me the proudest, first of all, is that the team were able to deliver that win, but also that I’ve had so many messages from India saying they were so proud to hear the national anthem. It was a promise at the end of last season and the beginning of this season that we’d hear the anthem, so I’m happy it’s already happened and hoping we’ll hear it again soon.

Honorable mention: Dan Ticktum
A bittersweet weekend unfolded in Monaco for the British driver. Whilst a post-race technical infraction stripped him of a podium finish, Dan Ticktum deserves credit for his performance on track. After securing Pole position for both races in a dazzling display of race craft, the Kiro Race Co driver put on a masterful defence against a train of faster cars to cross the finish line in third position (fourth after receiving a penalty for a collision). Whilst the Principality didn’t reward his effort with the result he wanted, Ticktum proved his skill and capability of extracting the best out of his car.
